The Rules

  • Tires:  Only Bridgestone YHC will be allowed. Size must be 4.50X5 in the front and 7.10X5 in the rear
  • Exhaust:  Must be SSX-V can (RLV P/N: 7548)
  • Drive components:  Clutch wet or dry type and chain (Crankshaft mount, no axle)
  • Weight:  Kart and driver must weigh minimum of 360 Lbs. at post race tech inspection. (as raced) Note: This rule may be revised at a later date if it is felt that the lighter drivers have a unfair advantage. Will require a vote.
  • Engine Tech:  Engines are to be pre-inspected and sealed by Rod Williams at a cost of $25.00 per engine.  Contact Rod for an appointment at 734-771-4974 or kartdots@aol.com
  • No throttle remotes
  • No throttle triggers
  • No front breaks
  • All other rules are WKA standard
  • If at any race a driver has a problem with a call made by a track official, bring it to the group for discussion before arguing with the track officials.  Please remember that they are our hosts and do not have to let us race there. If the call seems wrong to the majority of the group that we can protest the call as a group.
  • Any participant that does not pass post race Tec. will be awarded last place points for that event

(inverted from round 1 finishing order?)
Main Event (Number of laps to be determined on a track to track basis) (The number rolled on 1 die will be determine the number of drivers that will invert to the end of the grid.)

The Michigan Kart Club is offering free membership to any one that has not been a active member in the past 2 years.

I have not decided on the points system that will be used yet. Palmyra Speedway may be going to a transponder system this year and if they do we will be able to do more with the points than just finishing order. That is what I am waiting for.
