Cascades Pond Ice Race In The
Park -
Part of jackson Winderfest 2012 New!
This first race will be on the new fishing pond at Cascades Park in Jackson, MI. The date is Saturday Feb 25, 2012.
The track will be a small road course. There will be one hour of practice allowing drivers to make handling adjustments
to their karts during this time. Each team will compete in two heat races and the feature race. The number of laps of
the heat races and the feature race will be determined by the length and lap times of the track (still TBD). Practice will
start at 11:00 am. Racing will start at 12:30 pm and end around 4:00 pm.
The cost for a team is $400 per race and includes - the use of a go-kart and helmets. Only 20 teams will compete. Entry is on a
first-come, first-served basis. The ice races sell out quickly every year, so reserve your team as soon as possible!
